India Marriages and Relationships

The Indian tradition doesn’t approve of the Indian dating system. Modern young people, especially those in urban areas, are becoming more interested in dating with western culture. Many urban dwellers have made dating a part of their everyday life. And, parents are often open to allowing a girl and boy to date. This trend is not widespread in India and the Indian interior has been slow to catch up matrimonial sites.

India has always been a land of romance. Many centuries-old stories about love and romance are based on this fact. People all over the globe admire and adore the Tajmahal, a magnificent love monument which bears the sign of the romantic attachment that the Mogul Emperor for his lady lover.

Brides

In modern India, an engagement ceremony between a boy or girl is a big event. Engagement rings are exchanged in the midst of grand parties held in many families. This ceremony marks the end of the relationship between a boy and girl. It takes place at the boy’s house or at the girl’s. The agreement is mutual.

In traditional engagement parties, surprise announcements are made by the father of the bride. Guests don’t know of this beforehand. Modern engagement parties are pre-announced. However, variations can be made from one section of the party to the next. The western influence on the engagement ceremony and the ring has been accepted as part of Indian life. It was used to be a day for the completion of marriage. Both the bride and groom enjoyed it. The marriage ceremony has been a key part of American life.

India considers marriage an important social and religious event. This is true regardless of whether it is the outcome of a successful courtship, or a simple arranged union. Indian weddings have many cultural and fun aspects. They are also full of rituals and joy. Many Indian marriages start rituals many days before the actual ceremony. India, a country of culture & traditions, has many rituals and customs that are organized and overseen by women. This series of rituals has the central purpose to bring about happiness, prosperity, and a peaceful marriage for the couple. Indian marriage ceremonies are full of rich traditions, such as the weeding tradition.
