The Indian tradition doesn’t approve of the Indian dating system. Modern young people, especially those in urban areas, are becoming more interested in dating with western culture. Many urban dwellers have made dating a part of their everyday life. And, parents are often open to allowing a girl and boy to date. This trend is not widespread in India and the Indian interior has been slow to catch up matrimonial sites.

However, variations can be made from one section of the party to the next. The western influence on the engagement ceremony and the ring has been accepted as part of Indian life. It was used to be a day for the completion of marriage.
